"Odalisque and Slave", by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres, 1842. The odalisque and Orientalism in general were a very strong tendency painting of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, that through the exotic and disinhibition that applied in the Eastern customs, they had the excuse to paint nudes.
